Endodontics is a branch of dentistry involved with the study and treatment of the dental pulp. The reality is, endodontics is so much more. There are very few areas in dentistry and I suspect medicine in which an extremely painful situation can be remedied in such a small amount of time. I feel there is no better way to help your fellow man than alleviating pain. I do think most endodontists are drawn to this specialty in dentistry for the same reason. I was a Captain in the United States Air Force from 1982 to 1986. Our unit received two distinctive service awards and I was awarded the Commendation Medal given by General Bowden head of the USAF Dental Corp. My wife Stephanie, who is a general dentist, and I have been blessed with five wonderful children, all of whom are doing very well. We have a family run apple orchard in Wyoming, MN. The orchard keeps us busy year around and is open to the public in the fall. We also have a hobby farm, including a greenhouse, and many pet animals that complement our orchard. I am a beekeeper as well and also enjoy woodworking. My wife and I enjoy traveling and have completed numerous adventures around the world.
