My husband and I had his father in Heritage for 1 1/2 years before he died several years ago. My personal preference is to keep your elderly loved ones at home whenever possible; but whenever it is not possible, this facility is the closest thing to staying at home that one can find anywhere--each patient has his own room, the ratio of staff to patient is never greater than one to three as there are only three patients there at any one time, the love and care received is so much like being at home as each person is treated as though he were a member of the family, i.e., a grandmother, grandfather, etc. The individual and personalized care given is unique and very very special. Both Kim and Hugh are warm, loving and caring and show this over and over to the people in their care. Consider this first when you look for a place for your loved ones; you can't go wrong.

My experience with Heritage House has been very positive. Not only was my family member well cared for, she was also cared about. I would have never been satisfied with a traditional nursing home and Heritage House was a great solution. Thank you .
