Provided by YP.comGreat customer service and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We needed a vehicle towed, and our responding driver, Amos, was prompt and called ahead to discuss details. he went above and beyond to resolve a difficult situation. He even helped with figuring out the problem with the vehicle we had. He was a great representative for this business, and we will be recommending U Save to anyone we know who might need one of their services. Thanks, Amos Dixon, and U Save for your help! Chris and Amy

Provided by YP.comThis company has overcharged a tractor trailer driver for a 'quick' pull out of the mud on the shoulder of Route 11 in Kirkwood today. It is a disgrace that this company is permitted to fleece a truck driver who is desperate to get his truck back on the road!!! Someone should investigate their fee practices!!!!!!!

Provided by YP.comthey charged $41,000 to recover an accident(trk&trl). if you feel like being robbed then this is the place to go. absolutely outrageous and our trucking company will NEVER use these guys for anything. we told them to take our truck to a dealer on 3/28 and it is now 3/31 and our truck is still not at a dealer.

Provided by YP.comI received a flat on I 81 E on my way To Syracuse with a car load of kids. From the time I called GM Road side assistants to the time U-Save showed up to install my spare was 40 minutes. Great service! Knowing I needed new rear tires on an all wheel drive SUV, I called the shop to see if they could install the tires so I could complete my 300 + miles trip home. The road side technian followed me to their shop to make sure there were no other problems. They installed the 2 new tires & had me on the road within an hour for a very reasonable price.
Thank you U-Save towing for your professionalism and service!

Provided by YP.comWorst company in existence. They damaged my vehicle getting it off the flatbed, with multiple witnesses to this, and they flat out denied they were liable and told me it was "pre-existing damage". Not only that, but the owner called me personally and threatened me over the phone if I tried to turn it into an insurance claim against them!!
Ended up turning it into my own insurance carrier, paying my own deductible, and they ignore all legal documents sent to them from my carrier and attorney to recoup the expenses!

Provided by YP.comLets start with WOW! UNBELIEVABLE! After a minor fender-bender that left my nephews car damaged, the BPD called usave for a tow. They would not deliver the vehicle where he asked and told him they had to take it to their facility and he would have to pick it up the next day there (this was a Monday). Being a young man, he has not yet developed his BEWARE signals. He was quoted a ridiculous amount of money to get his car back on Tuesday, money he did not have. So he worked all week and went back with his whole paycheck to get his car, only to find out that he had not even earned enough to cover the $60.00 per day storage fee they were charging him. Now, getting to the short, by the time he called me for help he was extremely distraught about what to do. He had been struggling to find transportation to work and had missed that day because of it, now realizing he could not possibly make the money to get it out himself and did not know what to do. I called them on day 10 and was told that it would cost me $988.20 (with the tow and all of their EXTRA made up fees) to get it that day and each additional day was another $60. plus tax. By the way, if you do not pick up your car within 30 days--they own it! We went and immediately picked it up. My brother and nephew went into their yard to look at the car and this accident damaged car had been started up and driven around their property-you could follow all of the fluid leeks from it around their yard. We directly told them that they were a bunch of lying thieves. Somehow, between paying for, and signing for, the car and the car being brought from the back to the parking lot-the windshield also got broken and it had further damage to the side front of the vehicle. They shoved it out their gate, closed and locked the and walked back into their building snickering at our angry outcry's. We called the Binghamton PD to come to the scene to file a complaint before we left their premises with the car and were told that this was not a 'criminal matter' it was a 'civil matter' so they would not come (since when is vandalizing someone else's personal property not criminal?). We were told to go to civil court M-F during the day and file a 'civil action'. FYI---I hear that this facility is actually part owned by a member of the BPD---I am not sure about this piece of unsubstantiated gossip, but I do intend to find out!

Provided by YP.comNOT WORTH THE HASSLE, NEVER AGAIN!
I have rented vans from this shady place at least 8 times in the past four years, and I am officially done now. Their secretary/customer service people are never friendly, but I tried to overlook that for a long time because I thought I did not have any other options to rent a large van.
All the vans we have rented from them in the past have had some sort of issue, and this came to a head a couple years ago when we took a group of students to Syracuse and the serpentine belt on the van broke in the middle of the night. Obviously poor maintenance. Instead of finding someone in the area, they wasted our time waking up one of their towing drivers to come up to meet us. THREE HOURS LATER we could finally resume our trip.
Most recently, however, I arrived to pick up a van for another trip to Syracuse, and I was told by a very annoyed, bad-attitude secretary (who was just waiting for the end of the day and could care less about customers) that I could not pick up a vehicle if someone else intended on driving it. Fair enough, seems like a decent rule, except for the fact that WE HAVE DONE THIS EVERY OTHER TIME WE HAVE RENTED FROM THEM. I tried to explain this and the situation to her (we needed to leave for our trip in 2 hours) but she had zero understanding and zero desire to be helpful whatsoever. When I called a couple days later to complain about it, I was met with a trite "sorry for the problem" by the manager- a sure sign that these types of issues are a regular occurrence here.
U Save, you have officially lost my business, and as I now see from other reviews, that of many others in the Binghamton area. Get a clue or shut down.
If you are a potential customer, do yourself a huge favor and don't go near this place! There are other options for rentals, towing and recovery in the Binghamton area that are very comparable in price. U Lose, U Save.

Provided by YP.comMy wife today had a flat at work. The insurance called u save auto. They were supposed to change the spare and said they could not get the spare off the car. The tow guy said they can tow the car to the shop and plug the tire because they found a nail in the tire. They guy said the cost would be $20.00 and the insurance will pay the towing. After work 4 hours later she went to get the car. They tried to get her to buy a new tire. They never even touched it all day. She told them no plug it like i asked. They took one hour to plug the tire and said she had to pay $50.00 dollars. $20.00 for the plug and $30.00 for labor. This is complete BS, you don't charge labor for plugging a tire and it should take only ten minutes to do the job. I will post this on every site I can find so nobody will go to there rip-off place.

Provided by YP.comI had an accident nearby their shop and selected U Save for their convenient location. I had no prior experience and was a bit apprehensive since my vehicle required extensive body work as well as under the hood work. U Save worked closely with my insurance company and myself and restored my car to its pre-accident condition. I was very pleased by the courtesy of the staff and the quality of their work.
