The Street/Sewer/Sign Division is a part of the Public Works Department, which is operated by the government of the City of Bettendorf in Iowa. The Public Works Department focuses on the construction, improvement and maintenance of the city s infrastructure. The department specializes in solid and electronic waste collection services. It also offers recycling, street maintenance, and snow and ice control services. The Public Works Department provides city-owned building and fleet maintenance services. In addition, the department offers construction inspection and sewer maintenance services. It administers the Senior Ambassadors Program. The Public Works Department is accredited by the American Public Works Association.
