They have a fair number of sports programs, but many are just re-runs of earlier broadcasts. Even though I have paid extra for additional channels, nearly everything of interest is pay per view. I watch only about five or six channels regularly but must pay for all the rest. I'll give them credit for a large number of classic TV show re-runs , many of which are better than current programming.

We have had Service Electric for many years. We noticed this last bill has once again....gone up. This would not be a problem, except, it seems we are not getting as many channels! Also, we are noticing the removal of some of our favorites. You removed the SPEED channel, which to many of us, was very upsetting. There are many "CAR GUYS" out there that enjoy their SPEED channel. We like SPORTS, but don't need them on all the channels. Why would you remove that? Please reconsider some of these channels and put them back, as we are very annoyed with watching the same thing over and over again. Re-runs only go so far..............time to look else where...? HD channels pixilate. Especially when you buy Hockey package. Most local sports breaks up or freezes in Bethlehem twsp Pennsylvania

I am a 12 year customer and the service has been excellent I would never think of leaving. if I have had a problem the service has been fast and problem always fixed

Terrible company, but the only game in our area for broadband internet. High prices that keep going up from the estimation to the final bill. Caps on monthly use of the internet simply to limit use of streaming video. Monopoly that abuses their power!

Service electric is monopolist in the area. It's expensive. Overall low quality/value of services comparing to competitors but high price. Somehow it's only single company monopolized area where i live and no other providers services are available.

Worst cable company EVER! For the last year I have called, had a tech come out and my service is still garbage. When I have people over to watch sporting events on my big screen, it constantly freezes. Last night, in the bottom of the ninth inning of a baseball game at a crucial point, it froze. Only to unfreeze to show the conclusion of the game. Nothing like the climax of an event being ruined by sub par service. When I call to get comps for constantly losing out because of their service, they just want to reschedule more techs to come out, and then maybe they might comp me. Seriously? Run far and run fast from this terrible company who does nothing extra for current customers.

Just horrible TV service. Limited HD options and poor overall service.why I'd it that I can use Bondage, but SECTV says their VoIP won't work in my neighborhood. The same goes for on-demand, not offered by SECTV but Vudu works. Just lousy.

Absolutely the worst customer service(?) I have ever experienced, and I've had some bad experiences. I enrolled in paperless billing months ago. I continue to get paper bills every month. I call. (Keep punching zero; you'll get a so-called person.) They tell me they can see that I'm enrolled in paperless billing. Duh. They don't know why I keep getting paper bills. The "customer service representatives" are unbelievable stupid and inept. I'm supposed to do this and that. I do this & that. Next month, another paper bill. I am so sick of these cretins. If I had another option for cable/internet, I'd be gone from this bunch of idiots in a split second. THEY ARE THE MOST INEPT AND UNHELPFUL BUNCH OF IDIOTS I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED! Give me another cable company, please!

Awful customer service. The products they use are also very problematic: on my 5th remote control, second cable box, and second modem in less than a year. They also told me that they just expanded their customer base in my area significantly (I think they got an apartment community to switch) but didn't install the infrastructure to support so many new customers, meaning the 5mbps connection I was paying for ended up being <1mbps. When I called to ask about it, they told me it would be fixed in February. In March, they told me mid-March. In mid-March, they told me April. It's now early April, I think I'll just save myself the hassle and not bother calling.

I have been a customer with SECTV for many a couple years now and the customer service is pretty much non-existant, pricing continues to rise. My bill just went from 99.00 to 119.00 (cable modem + full basic). I have been trying to contact the billing department for days now and reach a busy signal every time I call. I will submit another review once I'm able to reach them to inform you how it went.

Agree with all the reviewers here. SEC is by far the worst cable company I have ever dealt with. I am not from the the PA area and as first time customer had to wait to get through their new customer option on the phone for over 30 mins! If this happens to new customers feel sorry for current customers...they are awful. Need to upgrade their VRS systems to bring them up to current technology standards.

Service Electric is the absolute worst. I am sick and tired of waiting 30+ minuted during the day to receive a customer service representative. Tonight we were trying to purchase a pay per view UFC fight to no avail. Everytime we call we receive the general operator who no matter what you select says goodbye. Off to direct TV we go. Good Riddens!!! Service Electric's Customer Serive is apalling.. They will soon be gone in the Lehigh Valley!!! much deserved!

SEC is the worst of the worst.........Not only do they make you wait all day long and they do not show to do the cable bacause their techs are to busy drinking beer at the local bar but have the nerve to actually tell you to your face that you were not home at the time that they called but you go check the cell phone and there is no missed calls ..go figure..........They need to get their act together and treat customers like they should be treated after all the customer are the one paying thei paychec ks............worst of the worst
