Ann Ruffalo “Annie” is a Physician Assistant with experience in Internal Medicine and Urgent Care who is a transplant from the Midwest. She did her undergraduate work at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa before obtaining a Masters in Microbiology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She completed the Physician Assistant program at the University of Iowa in 2010, and between 2010 to 2014, she took care of patients in Ottumwa, Iowa. In 2015 she moved to the Silver Spring, Maryland area and began practicing in Internal Medicine and Urgent Care. Her interests include chronic conditions like Diabetes and Hypertension as well as culturally competent LGBT care. She is excited to join the Jivana Care team.

Definitely a great medical office! The staff doesn't treat you like you're just another patient, they care about you as if you are family. Everyone greets you with a smile. Very nice and customer friendly-group of people. Easy to get to, easy to park. Finally finding a place that gives me the ability of self administer allergy shots has made all the difference and gotten me going on something I had been putting off for years.
She is very knowledgeable about drug withdrawal and how to stay sober. She is also very kind.
