Worth going out of my way!! Apparently I am used to the cleanliness and professionalism of this salon because no other salon can meet my expectations. Even the teenagers at Bethel Tan & Body Center are knowledgeable and respectful. The owner is a doll and she runs a tight ship, there is always someone cleaning and I am always being told which beds have new bulbs. I have been coming here since I moved to CT in 1997 and it is constantly being updated. I have tried all the new beds and my favorite is the same one from 1997. They said they were replacing it a few years ago but so many of us complained - she kept it AND found another one. I don't care if its older than the others... Those are fantastic beds! (not telling which ones because I don't want you to be in it when I get there). Even my dermatologist agreed that If I was going to tan - THIS is the place I should go because they actually care about my skin. LOVE IT !!

ive been coming here a while and there is never an off day. its always perfectly clean,staff is so nice and helpful, and beds are always strong. i have never burned cuz staff wouldnt let me (which is awesome) and had a beautiful brown tan so quickly. i recommend to everyone!!

I owned a tanning salon before moving to Ct. I thought I knew everything - I was wrong. When I first moved here I tried a place in danbury by my grocery store, then a place by my gym, then a co-worker recommended this one. Its out of my way but worth the extra 10 minute drive. I have a strange pattern of buying 1 month in one salon, then 1 month in another..... then I pick the one I like the best and buy 3 months. Then I start all over again because things change so you may get a different experience this time. I recommend Bethel Tan because I have chosen them over the others for the past 3 years. They are consistently clean, nice, and well trained. The staff knows more about lamps than I ever did. The other places never had the same people, and they were not clean - ever. Its no surprise that there are no other tanning salons closer to Bethel Tan because I would never compete with them!

The best in the area! I been to all 3 (remaining) salons in the area and the other ones cant even come close to the service and results you will get here.

The 1 bad thing is people from the restaurant taking parking spaces even though SIGNS nicely ask them not to. Don't let that stop you! There is additional parking behind the restaurant which is a pleasant walk for someone like me who needs the exercise. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER!! I was going to CheapCoast until bridezilla said I was orange. I checked out other places, online reviews and asked around. People I thought were just naturally tan told me they go here. I didn't even know they tanned because it looked soooo natural. No one had anything bad to say and it was only $2 to try it, so why not. Beautiful and amazingly clean. Staff was professional I never felt uncomfortable asking anything. I was de-oranged and beautifully brown in just a few tans. HINT: Buy on their website to get the best deal (its cheaper)!

This salon IS the best! That is why everyone else copies them. I checked them all out because people were talking about it so much and this is what I found. This salon is clean, staff is friendly and knows their stuff, my tan is the best it has ever been! I am BROWN not yucky orangy-brown. Plus they are HUGE. It doesn't look like a big place from the outside but there are over 20 beds! I actually got lost walking around downstairs (my bed was upstairs, lol) The booth I use is definitely not new but its my favorite! It doesn't take snazzy beds to get a great tan... it takes a great salon to know HOW to get a great tan out of every bed.

I'm back to stay! My Husband bought me a gift certificate to a different place (he won't do that again) That other place was horrible and made me appreciate Bethel Tan & Body sooo much more. I didn't realize how great this place was until I tried something else. I am spoiled here and I will never leave again. Extremely clean, Great staff, Great beds, Natural Tan. They know what they are doing and their pride in the place shows through. All other salons try to copy this one but they don't come close.

Amazing! The salon I was going to for 10 years closed. I found out I could use my package here so I gave it a try and was pleasantly suprised. It was so clean already and the girls were still cleaning. The woman at the desk was caring, professional and obviously knew what she was doing. Its a LOT bigger than it looks from the outside. I have never tanned so well - so fast in my life. Had I known it was this great I would have been tanning here a long time ago.

The BEST tanning place around. They have soooooo many more beds than the other places so I never have to wait very long (if at all) ALL the beds are strong and the staff is great about giving me the right amount of time. No burn - GREAT tan! I have tried almost all the beds and as much as I love the new big and flashy beds...I still LOVE the older beds too!. Its Ironic in this modern age, but those are the ones I wait for because everyone loves them. I learned "new" doesn't always mean better. Also, worth the higher price for the care the staff gives each person making sure they care for their skin and don't burn. Its like getting a personal shopper at the tanning salon! LOL. And the owner is neurotic about cleanliness (that's a good thing!). That staff is ALWAYS cleaning something. OTHER salons only cared about getting my money. Bethel Tan actually cares about the people and doing good business.... they've earned my money!
