ive just recently had a dining birthday party and went searching for plenty of asian restuarants that i could rent out for the night and ive came across Racha's Cafe. I had guests about 30 people which is insanely a lot. Even thought i was skeptical about have a diner party there because i had a lot of guest. they had enough tables and chairs for everyone. Decoration i wanted to do, the restuarant let me and even offered to decorate it themselve. The waiters/waitresses we very sincerely and friendly. There are a couple of waiter/waitresses that are students that attend cal which is cool. But about the food, they had these huge pans that had all the food we order hot and ready very fast. They served us free soup which i was awed by and the service was great! I had a hard time getting my glass of water empty because they would help me fill it every 5 minutes lol.

Ive been going to Racha's for as long as 4 years now and im still impressed how the food there still tastes delicious even thought they switched owners for about a year now. My favorite dishes are the Red Curry, Pad Se Ew and the Fried Chicken over Fried Rice(Recommend it). I wasnt really a curry dish lover but after trying the red curry with chicken i have to say i was amazed. Most of all the dishes you can have a choice of chicken, beef, or pork which is good and the price is made affordable to students and everyone that comes along. Although, the setting is somewhat small. the dining area is filled with statues and art work that open your eyes to their religion and give you a sense of how things came along in the Thai culture. The Waiters are very friendly and kind. The Service i have to say is very fast but once it is crowd where they have to use their extra back room that is reserved for parties and big groups youll probably have to wait about 10-15 min for your food which isnt that long compared to other restuarants. They now have a wide variety of winery and beer which is very good. new specials are out including new lunch specials that lets you have a free appetizer is AWESOME...
