General Info

Founded in 1971, Chaparral House is a nonprofit and licensed, skilled nursing elder care center. Chaparral House has an RN Administrator and RN Nursing Director and we are staffed by loving, caring people skilled at meeting the needs of the elderly population. Licensed Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants are on duty 24 hours a day, every day. We have a high Staff-to-Resident ratio. The facility of the organization provides more than 20 private and over 10 semiprivate rooms, an organic garden, on-site beauty parlor and laundry. The organization offers an on-staff chaplain, therapeutic diets, contract pharmacy and therapy services. It also offers supportive nursing care for bathing, dressing and grooming, as well as an electronic door monitoring system, Jacuzzi tub with mechanical lift and security alarm system. Chaparral House offers various recreational activities, such as exercise, current events, discussion groups, art classes, celebrations and a range of musical entertainment. It also operates a family and friends council.
