I have gone to Mr. Auto for many years. They have always done a good job on minor problems. I had a motor replaced ($6800) and with it still under warranty for 3 years or 100,000 miles, after getting vehicle back, there was a vibration, they said flywheel was cracked. It should have been checked while motor was out. Jim charged me another $660.00 for that repair. I had leaking seals replaced a few months after the motor, next day the driveshaft fell out. (no charge to fix driveshaft) Now, I had transmission lines that they replaced when they did motor leaking from improper installation. One is rubbing on ground on engine block and one is rubbing on transmission case. Bad installation. After numerous phone calls over 4 days, the cowardly owner couldn't even return my phone call, let alone cover their mistake. I had to pay another shop about $185 to have lines repaired.This shop is good for minor repairs but I would definitely avoid them for major repairs as they obviously do not stand behind their work. The owner is rude and only cares about the customer if he is getting something out of it.We had also returned a few parts @ $100 cost, he took them and gave no refund and said parts were stolen by one of his employees, so we are out another $100

Open every other Saturday, prices are fair, work is done well and on time. Usually open till 6pm during the week. If you are dropping off after hours make sure you have an envelope for the drop slot.Mike B. in Bensalem
