He accused me of Dr. Shopping what does that even mean? Dr. Thorpe was my dr. but I go to Dr. bruce for injections because dr. b used to be my Dr. till he refused to fix a meniscus tear. No tests nothing just told me he did not think it was torn but it was & Dr Thorpe fixed it. but Dr Thorpe does not do Ortho visc injections so I kept going to get them at dr b. last injection they told me not to call for injection call for replacement. I am busting my Butt trying to get well enough to go back to work. Everyday I walk with Bad arthritis at least 3 miles. because I am fighting to go back to work. I have lost 100lbs. I go to pt & I do everything the dr.s tell me because I want to go back to work by the time I am 50. This evil dr. refuses to help me but told me Dr. B would. Then he has the nerve to tell me Good job on not giving up. I have been crying ever since. what does he think I should give up on? My life? ever working? What Dr. Gannon? Screw You Dr. Gannon. You should give up!!!!
They keep trying to push me to go to Dr. Bruce who works at peace health even though Dr. T was the last Dr. who worked on me. But my Insurance want let him do knee replacements on me. Dr. Hokema looked at my Neck mri & said it is Not surgical & I will not operate on your Knees go Back to dr. Bruce. I found that very odd but when I got home I looked on the Internet & apparently he has done this to several people doesn't he know he is supposed to go over your Mri's with you? I decided just to put it behind me & go to another Dr. in Pacific Rim Talked to the Nurses & they said Dr. Gannon is great but when I get there he was trying to tell me to go to Dr. b. I said why would I ? Dr. T is my ortho dr. & the last one who did surgery on me & now my insurance does not cover it. So he did a xray & told me if he did replacements he would be in trouble with the Fda but I should go to Dr. b & he could do it. The worst thing he said was Good job on not giving up you can tell how hard you work.
I had (for me) extensive shoulder surgery 3 years ago. Dr. Matt Oswin preformed it. It was not all that "fun" to heal from, BUT heal I did and not only is my arm PAIN FREE for the first time in almost 20 years, but his removal of bone spurs eliminated what had, evidently, been causing severe migraine headaches for that 20 years! I have not had a single headache in 3 years. Not one.I had carpal tunnel release surgery a couple of weeks ago. I've had pain in that hand for 20 years with it getting progressively worse. It was to the point that I was waking up to shake my hand out EVERY night, and dropping my coffee cup EVERY day. I had local anesthetic, and as before, had Dr. Oswin as my surgeon. Completely, 100% symptom free within a couple of minutes of completed surgery!He is a gentle, COMPASSIONATE, caring and GIFTED surgeon! He cares FOR and ABOUT you. And it shows!!The staff at both the Bellingham and Lynden offices are among the kindest and friendliest I've ever had the occasion to meet and interact with. They are ALL top-notch in EVERY way and I would never go to anyone else.

After getting the run around between my primary care doctor and FINALLY getting to the "supposedly" right place... with most of the foot work done without my doctors help... I did get to a hand specialist... An injury that happend nearly 3 months ago! With all the build up and anxiety, I must say, that I was not impressed with Dr. Bergman... infact, I think I left more unsure then when I went in... He saw me for 5 min... didn't offer any suggestions or advice... it was like me telling him... should I still work?, should I just go on wrapping it, etc... he made no suggestion what so ever... I was sure I would need an MRI... but apparantly with just a few pokes to my hand he just told me I had a contusion which can take 6 mos. to a year to heal... and then sent me out of the office with a slip to go see a hand therapist... I don't know, but years ago doctors in general were more personable... To say the least I am very frustrated... He didn't ask me anything in regard to what hurts, mobility or lack of... swelling, nothing... ok - enough said...
