If I had to pick a favorite restaurant ever, Marino's might be it. When I lived in the neighborhood, I used to eat here at least once a week. I used to take my girlfriend there all the time because it really is the perfect date restaurant. The atmosphere is so quiet and intimate that it really sets the mood for romance. Enjoy your food and wine by candle light as the wonderful staff waits on you hand and foot to give you everything you need to enjoy your dining experience. This is the best Italian food I've ever had in California and it is very reasonably priced. I live farther away now and can't get back as often as I'd like to, but when I do, I feel right at home.
