I am a independent truck owner/operator which was given a load to be picked up an delivered same day from there plant to plant. Upon arrival and checking in at 11am was told within a couple minutes someone would be out to explain the door to start my loading that I would need to be at inside of building. After 1 1/2 hrs and several attempts to find help the shipper assured me the person would be rite out, at this point I was at borderline being able to make delivery and reload the return which became a loss thanks to there horrible ability to find there own employee to do his job by getting me inside or even to begin loading process. After 2 1/2 hrs they finally after many phone calls and conversations an employee came out. Only then I explained all the problems then the employee explained it would take 2-3 more hrs to be loaded that would have been 5 1/2 hrs that they weren't going to pay any detention time. If the business is run this way there lucky to be in business. When do you think management steps in and corrects the problem areas. There was no excuse not to even come to the driver and discuss the issues . What a ridiculous situation to end up sitting on a load that was supposed to be ready to be shipped, places like these need to go out of business all together. 1 star is really to much to even consider but apparently you have to rate .I would be embarrassed to do such a terrible job as a plant manager and not go out on the floor to see what goes on and make an attempt to fix the issues on hand.

This company treats it's warehouse workers poorly. But, I have heard their office staff gets treated great. Shouldn't everyone be valued?
