Stopped into metro today to do some shooting at the range and check the place out. I did some looking around for ranges to go to online and i saw all of the terrible reviews they were getting and well i had to go see for myself because some of the reviews just seemed ridiculous and almost made up. Well i tell you what im pretty happy that i decided to stop by because the range was a good time and its a great place. I spoke with john and 3 other guys at the shop after shooting at the range for an hour and they are all very nice people who seem very willing to help you out with whatever your needs are. Now i saw alot of people complaining about issues at the range. Most commonly i think is people getting mad about fees at the range. Ok yes the range isnt as cheap as some but its only a few bucks more, Yes you have to pay for the target holder if you shoot it but really they make this very clear before you go shooting and also if you hit the holder then you should be shooting closer and just need to be more careful, and yes if you are shooting rapidly like jack wagon then you are going to be asked to stop because it is a safety concern and this goes the same for people just handling weapons unsafe in general. I see all these reviews that are terrible and it looks like its just a case of unreasonable irresponsible people who are getting mad for breaking rules that are obviously stated before you go in. I highly recommend stopping in and checking the place out if you have been thinking about it.

I bought a Glock 27 gen4 from them & extras. Turned out to be a Gen3. They would do NOTHING about it

If you like spending time smothered in arrogance then this is your place. They treat you like you need them. No customer loyalty.

AVOID THIS RANGE!!

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at any shooting range. The range is dirty, the employees are RUDE and incredibly unprofessional! I walked up to the counter to reserve some range time and heard the last part of a conversation one employee was having with another about a "Mexican standoff" they were in. Do yourself a favor, go ANY where but to this range!

I went to Metro Shooting for t...

I went to Metro Shooting for the second time, and this time i was there to use the range. I had brought with me my 1969 m99 22 lr to shoot and a newly purchased LC9. By the way I didn't buy the LC9 from them because it was $150 higher then elsewhere. Anyway, while I was shooting my 22 they came in to the range and told me I was being to loud with my weapon???????? at first I thought he was kidding, but he wasn't. Needless to say, I don't go to a GUN range to be quiet! but no worries I wont be back.

The people are beyond friendly and especially helpful for me.I was a first timer, and they took the time to give me suggestions on which gun to rent and how to use it.

They rent guns, and have an indoor range that is very nice, I'm female and I didn't feel the least bit intimidated walking into what most people would think was a very guy oriented place. I'll be going back very soon for a safety and shooting class.
