- Reconstructive Surgery
- Plastic SurgeryInstead of cutting a cancerous tumor, SRT uses a precise dose of radiation that’s external in nature to eradicate cancerous skin cells under the surface. The radiation goes to only the thickness of the skin to minimize danger to healthy tissue. Because SRT doesn’t require cutting, bleeding or sutures, it’s painless, low in risk of infection and requires no reconstructive plastic surgery. There is also no downtime or special precautions following treatment — you can continue working and bathing following treatment.
