These folks "rebuilt" a pair of competition ice skates when I could not afford a new pair. If that is not "expert" then I do not know what is. They always had things done on time. The work was amazing. The husband and wife are very nice. How can anyone ask for more???

Have used G&M shoe care for 30 years back when his Mom and Dad ran the shop. They have just moved their shop to Bellaire, Tx near the post office. Their work is world renowned, often mentioned in lists of the top world shoe repair and service. The work is superb. I have a pair of shoes (Feragamos) that they have kept going for 20 years. When your shoes are perfectly comfy and you want to keep them G&M will keep them going and going.

Been there a few times, and won't go back. They're disorganized and may or may not have your items ready when they tell you they will be (so you waste time making multiple trips). On the last job they did, reattaching a purse handle and reinforcing the others, the stitching wasn't straight, looked messy, and (apparently) the stitching machine left gouges on the leather under the stitching. This cost about $40 dollars, and I'm not going to be able to use the purse as it now looks shabby. I also left a belt with them that they gave back to me without the repair work done, telling me it had to be hand stitched. (Don't know why they can't hand stitch?) My questions and complaints exasperated them -- they certainly don't want to hear about it if you're not happy.

Their work is consistently excellent, delivered when promised, and reasonably priced. The owners are also friendly and cheerful. They have treated me like a good friend from the time of my first visit. I've been using G&M for almost 20 years and have never considered any place else.

Excellent work, honesty and great customer service. I have used this business for over 30 years numerous relocations. Would not think of going or looking elsewhere. They sole, heel and polish. Thanks to G & M, my bags and shoes look and wear great forever.

I love G&M Shoe Care! I have taken several items here to have them repaired and not just shoes! They do all kinds of leather repair work. Their work is always of high quality and I can tell they have taken great care with my items. They are reasonably priced too! Rest assured if you take something to them they will get it back to you in a timely manner and in execellent condition!
