General Info

Douglas W. Shafer, D.D.S. was born and raised in Washington state. He earned his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and his doctorate from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. He lived in Venezuela for two years and speaks fluent Spanish. Dr. Shafer is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Academy of Sports Dentistry. He has volunteered for children's dental programs and done dental work at several clinics in underserved areas. Dr. Shafer, his wife Jackie, and their three children love living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. They enjoy playing sports and being outdoors together.
