      Lone Star Vision's optometrist, Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Houston, Texas, where he once enjoyed playing his electric guitar, riding his Harley-Davidson, drinking iced tea, and going to the shooting range. After he grew up and out of that, he got serious with other things...like optometry. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1991 and took his first position at LensCrafters at Prestonwood in Dallas. In January 1992 he decided to move his family to Beaumont, Texas to work for 4 years as the associate doctor at TSO Beaumont and Port Arthur. By 1996, Dr. Johnson decided to work as an independent practicioner and took a position at the Walmart in Beaumont which had just opened up.
