Best seafood in whole area. Best fried oysters and scallops ever had. Oysters were huge and juicy. Everything was top notch and I am hard to please and have eaten in a lot of places on the coat of Carolina. She crab soup also very good. No alcohol but plenty of good sweet tea. Will definitely revisit.

I'm the owner of this business...unfortunately the person that wrote review was a short term employee! Our place of business has been in business since the late 6th and it's a one of a kind. Awesome seafood, home cooked from scratch food. Mouth watering steaks...if you don't come to eat the best food in the area it's your loss. Our health score has never been below 92.5 but usually averages 94.5 and we have 6 serve safe certificates. We also have just recently received the Tasters Choice Award from the Chamber of Commerce that was a public vote. Just Saying would love for you to not to take an opinion from a disgruntled Xbox employee. Ty

Good southern food, pleasant waitresses, very calm and casual atmosphere. Owners are very nice. Noticed the food takes about 5 or 10 minutes longer when it's busy, but worth it. Not to expensive, all the regulars rave over the lunch specials. They run out of them a little early on busy days, just have to remember to come in a little early or call ahead for them to save us some. If your looking for fancy, this isn't it but it's very good.

They have fresh local seafood...they are known fir there 5 WAY SEAFOOD PLATTER! All home cooked and fresh daily! Friendly staff...fresh salmon is to die for along with local catches of othrr sesfood...chicken and pastry, beef tips, fried chicken, collards, and lots more!

Not only is the food either over cooked or under cooked, but I have found hair in my order the two times I have eaten here. I promise I will NEVER be back.

Charlie's restaurant is disgusting. the kitchen is dirty and looks like a dump and there was hair in some food that i ordered. They recently had a surprise inspection by the health department and receive a very low grade. There ws a leak in the ceiling above where the salads are made and two people were caught without hairnets or hats on, potatoes were laying across the floor and there is a bucket that they wash their hands in that was suppose to have bleach in it but instead had dawn. This is a very disgusting place to eat and you will find either hair or bugs in your food or at least on the floor.
