Gilgo Plumbing Heating & Cooling was founded in 1981 by Dean Richardson who joined the company in 1963 as the firm’s 9th employee and shortly thereafter entered into an agreement to purchase the company. Through Richardson’s creativity, integrity, and vision (not to mention 80-hour work weeks) the company has since grown to over 30 employees strong. Gilgo Plumbing Heating & Cooling has seen it all in NYC–we were here to install some of the first high pressure steam systems in the city, watched midtown transform itself from a residential neighborhood to a business hub and more. Our reputation as New York City’s plumber of choice is well earned and we spend every day devising ways to raise the bar even higher. Over the years we’ve accumulated more success stories, more accolades, and more happy customers than just about anyone in town.
