- General Info
- The Feet People was established in 2005 in Baxter, MN as a fabrication facility for custom orthoses. Each year has brought exciting changes and growth to both the pedorthic footcare side of the business and to the retail side of the business. The Feet People now has three board certified pedorthists and the business itself is also an accredited provider of pedorthic services. There is an in-house laboratory fabricating orthoses using state-of-the -art CADCAM machining and shoe repair services for shoe modifications and repair. During 2011 and 2012 we will showcase a dramatic expansion in the retail side of the business with several new lines of shoes joining the current inventory. The Feet People has services for people seeking properly fit shoes and orthoses for medical needs as well as anyone looking for comfortable shoes to promote a healthy lifestyle. Taking care of your feet is what we do. We offer comfort and quality in the products we offer. Our shoes, inserts, socks, and slippers are designed to keep your feet healthy when you are on the go. You may not think about your feet very often but they are an extremely important part of your life. If you don't take care of them it can mean serious trouble. Knowing how to care for your feet is important. If you don't care for your feet it can mean chronic problems in the short term and perhaps for years to come. Therefore it is critical that you select supportive, comfortable shoes and this is what we can help you with. If you have injured your feet or have a foot emergency you need to see a podiatrist. If you have circulation problems or diabetes you should also see a doctor. The older you get the more chances you have of circulation problems in your feet but this can happen with anyone. Signs of circulations problems are tingling, numbness, cramping, and discoloration of the skin and toenails.
