Quantity was poor; the flavor was good.

The wait was shorter than the twenty minutes initially given. It looked clean but I could smell a hint of pesticides in the lobby area while waiting to be seated. The none smoking area is a joke. I could see and smell the smoke. The restaurant is not that big. "Seafood Platter" well flavored. small crab claws; 3- medium size fried shrimp; 1-stuffed shrimp (lots of bread); 1-small oyster; 2-pieces of fried catfish (lite & flaky); 3-excellent green onion hush puppies; lots of french fries (room temperature). The wait was shorter than the twenty minutes required for lunch time. It looked clean. Greeting were given

One of the best restaurants in our city!

This is one of the best restaurants in our city! All of the food is wonderful. The blackened alligator with hollandaise sauce is to die for! I have never had a bad experience with the Chimes. I am happy that they even opened one close to my work! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. But, just a warning, the Highland Road Chimes gets extremely crowded on LSU game days! Go Tigers!
