Robert Harvey, MD, received his bachelors degree from Paul Tulane College at Tulane University. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in psychiatry. He sub-specializes in the treatment of patients with substance use disorders with particular interest in opioid use disorders. He also has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of Affective Disorders and the use of interventional psychiatric treatments: Transcranial magnetic stimulation and intranasal Esketamine. He is an advocate for the utilization of measurement based care and the use of psychotherapy in his daily patient interactions and in the teaching of resident physicians.Â
