Professional Karate Schools of America (PKSA Karate) teaches Tang Soo Do martial arts for ages 4-104. PKSA Karate emphasizes traditional martial arts instruction. This means showing respect to the instructor, learning centuries old forms (hyung) while having fun in a clean, pleasant atmosphere. The children's programs teach respect, discipline, focus, self defense, stranger danger, and bully defense. At PKSA Karate parents can train with their children and have a shared FUN activity. Adults work on physical fitness in fun and challenging ways, not the same ‘ole thing class after class. Martial Arts has also proven to be an effective stress reliever.Children ages 6 and up take classes based on their rank (knowledge level) and take 2 days a week choosing from 6 different days of the week. There is a special Little Ninja class for 4 & 5 year olds that is 30 min long.
