- Dental ExaminationWe want to make sure new patients will be comfortable with our staff and Dr. Perry, and to that end we offer a free dental exam to our new patients. X-rays can be taken if you want them, but they are not included for free.
- Teeth Cleaning
- Dental SealantsIn root canal or endodontic treatment, Dr. Perry removes the source of the infection and thoroughly cleans the inside of the tooth to remove all dead and decaying tissue. He then completely fills the tooth with a sealant to prevent re-infection.
- FillingsIt is a dentist who has chosen not to place traditional amalgam fillings, both for aesthetic purposes, and because of potential issues surrounding the mercury content in the amalgam material. Many people are uncomfortable with the idea of having mercury in their mouths. The alternative, composite white fillings, are much more attractive, and are mercury-free.
- VeneersA porcelain veneer is a thin shell of custom-made porcelain that’s crafted to fit over the front of a tooth. A veneer is bonded to the tooth and conceals flaws, including poor shape, misalignment, and discoloration.
- CrownsA CEREC crown is a ceramic dental restoration made using CAD/CAM technology in the dental office. CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic. You’ll receive a new dental crown while you wait.
- BridgesOne of the most common solutions to a missing tooth/teeth is a dental bridge. In the hands of a skilled dentist like Dr. Perry, a dental bridge can look and feel like a natural part of your mouth.
- Dental BondingDental bonding is a great choice when the involved teeth are otherwise healthy and attractive, with just isolated problem areas.
- Root Canal TreatmentRoot canal treatment is also called endodontic treatment, and it is necessary when you have an infection inside your tooth. If you have an infection, antibodies and white blood cells travel to the affected area to fight the infection, causing the affected tissues to swell. If this happens inside your tooth, there is nowhere for that swollen tissue to go, so the tissue dies. This necrotic tissue then becomes an “abscess,” a source of chronic infection affecting the tooth and surrounding bone tissue.
- DenturesDentures can look almost as beautiful and natural as your own teeth. If you have decided to go with dentures, Dr. Perry can provide you with attractive dentures that will be as comfortable as possible.
- Dental ImplantsProfessionally, Dr. Perry is an active member of the dental community. He is a member of the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association, Continuing Dental Education of Baton Rouge, Louisiana Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He has completed extensive dental implant training with MDI and Zimmer, and implant coursework at the University of Minnesota.

- Bone GraftingWe give our patients as much information as we possibly can about what their dental care will probably cost before we go ahead with any treatment. The cost of dental implants includes both the fee to surgically place the root form, and the fee to place the dental crown. If bone grafting is required at the site of the implant, additional costs will be involved, but we are sure to communicate every aspect of the fee structure to you before we begin any treatment.
- OrthodonticsPorcelain veneers have been called “instant orthodontics,” and they are one of the fastest-growing areas of interest in the world of cosmetic dentistry. Few other procedures offer such fast and dramatic results, but open communication is absolutely critical in making sure the end results match your expectations. A smile makeover is a significant financial commitment. Dr. Perry will interview you thoroughly, and your answers will help him create a smile that is exactly right for you.
- Teeth WhiteningThe professional-strength bleaching gel can lighten the natural pigmentation in your teeth. Teeth whitening results are permanent, and you can do touch-ups at home to maintain a bright smile. A dazzling white smile can take years off your age and creates the impression of overall health and vitality.
