I wanted some good Italian food and found this place on the Internet. I was very impressed with the refined ambiance, white linens, uniformed waitstaff and friendly hostess.
With the exception of the salad, which was supposed to be Spring Mix greens, but was iceberg, still good but not what I was told, and the pasta side dish, which was bland and unexceptional. Having said that, the Veal Marsala was exactly as it should be and then some. Tender and flavorful, an adequate portion, it was a delight to consume, as was the wonderful bread. The Spumone was also excellent, comprised of lemon, strawberry and pistachio ice creams, obviously home made, very tasty. Service by James was beyond reproach. Support waitstaff kept my water glass filled, removed dishware in a timely manner, all contributing to an enjoyable dining experience.
The food is so good and their service is great. Will be back, love this place.
I could not believe the prices! The food was awful. I loved the bread though. We paid triple what we would pay at the Olive Garden for disgusting food. The server was rushing us, and when we declined on the wine, and asked for more bread he gave us a dirty look and made a rude comment to a coworker. The owner is not much better! He rushes the customers and is just strange. the manager ( i am assuming he was a manager) was real weird too. He stared at us throughout our whole meal. The waiter was a jerk! The worst dining experience any of us ever had was last night at Ginos. Igave them 1 star only because this website forces you to give at least 1. Ginos isn't even worthy of 1 star though. to top it off i ended up sick shortly after eating there. I dont think i will ever be able to eat the fettaccini marc. ever again
For our anniversary we paid over 60.00 for awful food, and poor customer service, our waiter was rude. his name l**ch. i can make those dishes much better at home. was not impressed. My husband spoke with the owner when he made reservations, he seems very nice, but his crew not great and he needs an experienced chef that knows flavor.
This old BR restaurant is exceptional-wonderful dishes that are always delicious-impeccable service-great wine selection!
Best Lasagna in town!
