- Emergency CareTom began his career in nursing as a nurses aide in 1987. Tom, then went on to earn a BSN from Widener university. As an RN, Tom gained much valued experience in the acute care setting, working in the ICU and emergency department. To further his career Tom went back to Widener and earned his MSN in 1997. This is where Tom’s career focus shifted to wound care. He excelled in this position and was later promoted to Clinical Coordinator of the Wound Care and Burn Unit. Tom has been working in wound care in the Long Term Care and sub-acute setting since 2004, and earned the designation of Certified Wound Specialist in 2006.

- UlcerAfter witnessing her grandmother succumb to complications from a pressure ulcer, Wendy Smollock teamed with Paul Montenegro to form Wound Healing Solutions (WHS) in 2001. Their goal was to realign the standards of wound management utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to improve the processes and knowledge associated with wound care in the long-term care setting. Their success in preventing and treating wounds enabled the company’s successful expansion throughout New Jersey and neighboring states. In 2014, Mobile Wound Care, a wound management company philosophically aligned with WHS’s mission, joined Wound Healing Solutions to further expand the reach of quality wound management.
