Dr. Henderson will tell you that he doesn't have time for you. He has an arrogant attitude and does not like questions. If a problem is found he is slow to follow up, if at all. Find a different endo.

Dr. Henderson has been my husband's diabetes specialist for 17 years now. He has been very instrumental in ensuring that my husband has the best quality of life possible. He was a God-send when my husband was newly diagnosed, and has been wonderful over the years. We are very pleased with the quality of care he gives, and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an endocrinologist. He is a top-knotch doc.

Have had a goiter on the right side of my thyroid for many years. I recentely started having trouble swallowing and chocking on thing's like toast crumbs, and pain in my throat when singing and trying to reach high notes. I went to my physician and he sent me for the necessary scan's on my thyroid. After getting the result's he decided i needed to see a specialist, that being, Dr. Mark Henderson, in Bangor. He put me on medication to try to shrink the goiter plus many nodules around my thyroid. I am very with the progress so far. I have more energy then usual. He is treating me for hypothyroidism.
