Hot water heater at my house failed and left me a huge puddle of water in my basement. Sent an online inquiry message at 10 PM, heard back by 7 AM , and before noon a new heater was in place, up and running. Excellent service, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend.

My first experience with Tom Fritcher was a few years ago. He and his staff did a wonderful job adding a shower in my basement bathroom. I have had him back four times since, to do different remodeling projects. The most recent was my upstairs bathroom which is showroom perfect. He is honest and takes pride in his work.

I called him when my old boiler for a hot water radiant heating system in my 1938 house finally died. I read reviews on his website prior to calling and they were not wrong. Tom was terrific to work with. He clearly has vast knowledge and experience in the field of heating. He was also very communicative when things didn't go exactly as he had planned and called ahead to let me know if he was delayed or had an emergency come up. He installed a new boiler and a two zone heating system as well as a set-up for in-floor heating to be installed at a later date. As a former contractor myself, I was very impressed with his workmanship and attention to detail. I would highly recommend using him for HVAC work in the future.

Tom and his team are nothing but the utmost professionals!! I've had them do a number of jobs for me and they are very patient explaining to me what they are doing and why. I highly recommend them for anything you need doing! Fair and priced just right, I know they can handle any job you need doing, promptly and with a sense of humor too!!

Honest and excellent. I have a boiler that is 22 years old. Tom came in and explained how the boiler was in excellent condition, however the boiler was running extremely inefficient due to inadequate and outdated controls.

I had them replace all of the controls and safety devices to ensure top efficiency.

the job was done very well.

I have several comments from neighbors about how nice everything looked and the quality of the materials used.

I am a licensed boiler inspector and the quality of the safety devices was excellent.

I will recommend this company to everyone i know and will use them again when needed.

I had an issue with my boiler relief lifting and Tom came right over after i email him.

After doing several checks he determined that the hot water heater and back flow check valve failed.

He rescheduled his appointments and got my issues fixed in about 5 hours.

I was grateful and will continue to pass his name to everyone.

The pipes in our home froze in the winter and we were not able to keep the water turned on without it flooding our basement. We called several plumbers who would take our number and promise to return our call to repair the pipes in our home, however , not one called us back. Determined to get the repair taken care of I started calling every plumber and alas I got a real plumber on my first attempt . They were able to meet the following day to assess the damage. Unfortunately nothing was able to be salvaged because everything was really old but they got my entire house running in 1 day while we were at work! This was all new everything - not expected but much appreciated! Also we had really poor water pressure before as we are on a well but now we have amazing pressure ! Super fast friendly and helpful definitely recommend to anyone who needs a plumber!!

I had a less-commonl problem - a non-functional pool heat pump. After a year of unreturned calls from the original pool installer, an well-meaning but underqualified tech from another pool company and four "we don't do pool heaters" from HVAC companies, I came across Fritcher's "If I can't fix it..." motto. He took a shot at fixing the old one and gave me good advice and several choices when he narrowed it down to a $1500 part. I decided to start over with a system that would be better in the long run. I was encouraged to procure the new heater myself to save money (easy; drop-shipped right to my garage door), then Tom and Chris took care of the rest. New gas line from the meter, new and adapted pool plumbing, adapted electrical service, and meticulous cleanup, all from one contractor. The system works great and will be easier to service and cheaper to replace down the road. Lots of communication throughout the process and willingness to work with my strengths (sourcing parts) and weaknesses ($) were hallmarks of the excellent service from Fritcher's.

I had a great experience with Fritcher's! I called them on a Wednesday, they stopped by on Saturday for a consultation, and I had a new AC installed and working by Monday at 3PM. They quoted me a fair price, and then stuck to that price. In addition to replacing my AC, they fixed some problematic plumbing and an old poorly run heating pipe, as well as some other miscellaneous requests I had. I highly recommend them!

Not just installing a boiler heating system, but ENHANCING the instillation with components that make the sum greater than its parts.

Tom designed this unique system that's not only super functional but artistically pleasing to view.

He's a technical artist at a modest price.

I highly recommend Fritcher's Heating! I had a problem with my boiler and was advised to replace it by 2 other companies. I called Fritcher's and explained to Mr. Fritcher that I had a boiler that was 10 years old and was advised to replace it.Tom told me that it was odd for a boiler only 10 years old to need to be replaced. He came right over and diagnosed the problems with my boiler and was able to repair it rather than replace it. My boiler works better now than it did when it was new. My house is more comfortable now than it has ever been. Tom is a very honest and talented man. Call him for all of your heating needs.

Any homeowner knows it can be hard to find tradesmen who are honest, competent, and reliable. This is even more difficult when your house doesn't have a run-of-the-mill system. In my case it was a Italian wall-hung boiler with radiators and on-demand domestic hot water. Last spring the circulating pump was noisy, but the problem I couldn't ignore came when we had no hot water. I found Tom Fritcher's name on the Yellow Pages website and called him at 7:10 on a Monday morning. He was at my house at two minutes after eight. He quickly diagnosed the immediate problem of the boiler not lighting, and we had hot water within an hour.



Then we got the benefit of Tom's 30 years of experience. The outfit that designed our boiler system left out some critical components, including a valve that automatically adds water to the boiler if needed, the expansion tank, and an air bleeder. Our boiler had been overheating, spilling out the pressure (TMP) valve, and getting air in the lines when I had to add water manually. The problem was getting worse every time I added water. The air pockets were making the water pound inside the boiler, and it was starting to leak. Tom cleaned the boiler, added the missing parts to the system, sealed the leaks, and tested everything when he had it assembled. The boiler was saved, didn't leak, and ran quieter than when it was new.

I called at 8:30am and was surprised to receive a call right back. My brothers furnace hadn't been working correctly for over 3 years. He had surgery and the furnace quit working again.We were looking for someone @ Tom"s reviews made me think we could trust him to be someone who would figure out what was really wrong with this and be fair, Tom and his crew ended up completely reinstalling the furnace and running new duct work to make sure the furnace was finally working correctly for the first time. He went above and beyond and honored his quote, Professional and unheard of service, Thank you for making his furnace work right for t he first time ever and returning until everything was fixed even when you realized how badly someone else had installed the furnace.

I work the night shift and get home at 12:00am. When I got home I discovered a flood in my basement due to a broken hot water heater and I could not turn off the water that was feeding it. The water just kept pouring out. I called Mr. Fritcher, he came to my house at 1:00 am and got the water turned off without charging me extra for how early in the morning it was.He said he offers emergency service and this was an emergency. He was back at my house by 9:00am with a new hotwater heater for me and replaced the water valve that stuck so I would be able to turn the water on and off if I needed to in the future. He even helped me to clean up the mess caused by the water. He was exceptional and I will use him for everything.

A few weeks' ago my furnace would not work , it was still cold and we were having another snow storm. I was worried because my elderly mother lives' with me. I called Fritcher's Heating & plumbing at 8 am. , Mr Fritcher came out in that horrible weather on a Saturday, and was at my home within an hour of my call. I was impressed at how fast he got to us , as well as how polite and knowledgeable he was. He explained everything to me , and asked if I had any question's. You dont' find service like this anymore. Even after the furnace was fixed , Mr Fritcher stayed to make sure that the furnace cycled through and was working properly.

I would def. use this company again. And highly recommend them !!!

I called Fritchers at 4PM on a hot Saturday. He said he would take a look at my Paloma water heater in about 90 minutes. Tom showed up about 10 minutes after that, but took care of my water heater and everything is working fine. Reasonable price, fast responce, and good service. Would definately recommend, and will use him again if a situation arises.

Tom has done several projects on our property. We have had him do heating, plumbing and electrical. His rates are very reasonable. Work is done on time, on budget and above expectations. I would recommend him to EVERYONE.
