I had been with Kern Central Credit Union for around 15 years without any problems. I loved knowing everyone in my bank and they had a very friendly staff. Now that they switched to being a branch of Community Trust Credit Union, they think that they can charge unreasonable fees and have HORRIBLE customer service. THIS PLACE EVEN SWINDLES PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY FOR USING ONLINE BANKING!!! Their CD rates are extremely low, and their savings accounts only accumulate interest once a year, which also happens to be an extremely low percentage. Steer clear of this place. All they want is money; not a long standing, good reputation with their life long customers. Good to know that the $25 fee that they charged me last, was worth losing a client over.
