      Founded in 1916, Zup s operates more than five stores located in Ely, Babbitt, Aurora, Tower, Silver Bay and Cook, Minn. The company is famous for its varieties of sausage, including summer, smoked country, smoked Polish, Slovenian, Italian, pork, blood and porchetta varieties. In addition, it serves homemade pasties, stuffed boneless pork chops and smoked chicken and turkey. Zup s offers wild rice soups, cookbooks and sundries. It also sells sausage-making supplies, including hog stomachs, curing salt, sheep casings, jerky seasoning and beef stick casings. Zup s provides condiments, poticas and jams. Additionally, the company sells jerseys, hats, sweatshirts and T-shirts for both adults and children.
