Paul is very knowledgeable, experienced with great integrity. I had called Paul to do an assessment of our water treatment needs to replace an out of commission softener system. Paul tested our water and advised we didn't need to replace the softener given the water quality we had. Very honest and helpful.

Alan and Paul, Friot Water have been servicing Stow, MA since I moved to Stow in 1988. Since the house I purchased had a Friot water softener swappable rental unit already in it much longer than that. When I decided to purchase I decided that a large water treatment firm would have better equipment/service. I was wrong on both counts. When I dumped old companies equipment I purchased a new water treatment solution from Friot Water. Friot created a better water treatment solution, provide much better service and overall much cheaper to maintain. If there was a rating above 5 would offer it to them. Feel very fortunate that they service our town from their Ayer, MA headquarters.

Friot's installed my water filtration system and did a great job for a reasonable price. They are always available to answer my questions and I continue to by my water filters from them.

We were convinced to change from the salt system to a different type by our former well company. We spent more than $3,000 and it never worked properly. Our iron level is extremely high and the system we were sold was not meant to handle our problem. The first thing Paul from Friot's told me was that with our level of iron, salt was the only way to go. The old system was removed last fall and we are thrilled with the new one. No stains whatsoever anywhere. I wish I could give Friot's even more stars.

Can't say enough about Friot's in general and Paul in particular. I first met him when I requested a "second opinion." First opinion had told me I needed, literally, thousands of dollars in new water treatement equipment (The big red-truck company! Stay away from them!). Paul made it clear this was not necessary and said he could easily work with me and continue to extend the life of my existing system effectively. He did that for several years. Recently, when it failed suddenly, the service he provided was absolutely first rate. He personally coordinated w/ my plumber and saw to it that both of them were onsite THE VERY NEXT DAY. Within a day after that, he was back at my home flushing the new system, and I was back on line within 3 days. He is, without fail, prompt, courteous, reliable and a complete professional. I don't understand why anyone would use anyone else but Friot's. They deserve to be successful!

Alan and Paul have been my water conditioner specialists for 27 years. Paul just installed a new, two tank water conditioner ... my choice. My other system was working fine but it was 27 years old .. time for a new one. I did look at another company so I could compare price and other factors ... type of water conditioner, maintenance schedule, does it have an external filter, is the leftover water after recharging occurs drained into septic tank or outside, etc. Friot's had the best product to offer ... and I knew how they functioned as a company. The Friot's are DEPENDABLE and reliable. They keep the client's costs in mind at all times. The quality of the equipment and their workmanship is excellent ... they stand behind both. I would recommend them to anyone ... especially my family. I'm looking forward to another 27 years of clean water ... if I live that long.

I had to replace my water filtration system. Called in the company from So New Hampshire and left it to the "experts" to sell me a system which lasted only a couple of years. All they wanted to do was keep selling me add ons and new equipment. Even though they kept testing the water, they never had the "right" equipment. I finally got smart and called Friot's. The unit was installed 3 years ago and has been working great from day one. All I have to do is add salt from time to time, no other maintenance required.
