Thought I was dealing with a professional company. I spoke with Andrew, over the phone and made an appointment for him to come view my house and give me an estimate for weekly cleanings. First off, he called me on a Saturday morning at 8am, waking me up to confirm an appointment which he said was scheduled for 9am. I corrected him an said it was for 10am. (I had written it down) 10:15am comes and no Andrew. I called him, as I had to leave my house at 10:45, to ask if he was having trouble finding my home. He said no, that he was on his way, to pick up a lady who was going to help him and give him an estimate on how much it would be to clean my house and that he'd probably be here in another 15 minutes. I understand someone being 10 to 15 minutes late, but when it's a first meeting and they don't have the courtesy to call and let you know they will be a half an hour late or more, is a problem. Andrew said he didn't realize he needed to be to my home at that exact time. I told him that was a very unprofessional comment and our relationship is off to a very bad start. It's important to show courtesy and give someone a call or text, especially if you are going to be a half an hour, or more late. Andrew obviously disagrees. My point, if you are someone who has to stick to a schedule, you cannot rely on Avon Spotless Cleaning. Especially if they call you before 8am on a Saturday morning to confirm an appointment, which they didn't even know the proper time for.
