      The Sterling Aventura is a family-owned and operated facility that offers independent and assisted living services. It features furnished and unfurnished studios and one-bedroom apartments with kitchenettes, microwaves and private bathrooms. Its facilities include a beauty shop, activities center and therapeutic rehabilitation center with exercise equipment. Each floor of the facility features lounges with terraces, coffee bars, computers with Internet access, cable TVs, card tables, conversation areas and personal mailboxes. The residents of the facility are provided membership to various organizations, such as Hillel, Hadassah and The Democratic Club of North East Dade County. The Sterling Aventura also organizes dance parties, night outings, exercise programs, bingo, card clubs, book review clubs and cooking classes. It is located in Aventura, Fla.
