I CANT BELIEVE THEY ARE IN BUSINESS!!! WHAT A HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!!

WHAT A HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!!

Esme & her husband Jake who own and operate this UPS store are unprofessional people who LITERRALLY threatened us not even knowing the situation or being there! They called us up on 8/17/09 cussed us out, threatened to kill us, told us that we will never get our mail because they are going to burn it, etc. I mean, I have NEVER been talked to like this before coming from a business, especially when they werent even there. They left some new kid to watchover their store while they went on vacation. He was pissed off, and let us know it because he was overwhelemed and didnt know what he was doing. He stated to us, "I dont know what Im doing, and they shouldnt have left me like this". Now, we have spent over $618.00 dollars with this store in printing in a 3 month period, and we were always polite and cordial. The new guy told us we werent allowed to have our mail, it was being held back because we hadnt paid for our box.Since we go in there all the time, its not like we were avoiding them on paying for our mailbox, IN FACT, on 8/3/09 we offered to pay for our mailbox while we were there getting some things printed, and the same new kid once again was the only one there, and told us to take it up with Esme, the owner. We payed ahead of time for our printing that day, and the new kid had messed up some lettering, and told us he would put the new prints in our mailbox to get on a later day,we agreed and left. Then we go back in on 8/14/09 to get our mail, and thats when it all happened. We originally went in there on 8/14/09 to spend hundreds more of dollars in printing, but the new kid didnt have a clue of how to do it, OK fine. We will wait till Esme & Jake get back from vacation....Then we get the call a week later. They called us up, not knowing the situation, and didnt want to hear our side of the story at all. Jake was in background the entire time cussing and screaming, then he grabs the phone and proceeds to threaten us, cussing us out, and telling us they are going to throw away our mail, and not to come anywhere near thier store, where we have our mail sent to! We were very calm the whole time until he started to call us names and become completely irrational. They are committing a federal crime right now by and I have never seen or heard of a BUSINESS acting in this manner. Especially after we have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars with them!!! There is a better way to go about dealing with situations and they definatley dont know how to do it!!!

I just cant believe they as a business would call us up like teenagers trying to tell us how they will kick our asses, and how they want to kill us. If we made sucha "big scene" on 8/14/09 while they were away on vacation as their employee had stated to them, then, why werent the cops called? Wouldnt it be on video camera? To take the side of their employee and not even want to hear what we have to say is bad business. Whats really sad is that we OFFERED to pay for our mailbox that day, and ONCE AGAIN, the new kid told us to take it up with Esme once they got back from vacation. If they would have let us explain our side instead of just screaming and threatening us, this whole thing could have been resolved without any issues.

Rude manager and employees

When my package did not get to the destination on time, this place gave me the runaround, telling me they'd call me back but never did. When I finally got a hold of the manager she was very rude and lectured me on being a consumer, telling me that I should have read the fine print that in fact says they don't guarantee anything.

I would have been fine with the explanation if the manager wasn't so rude and condescending. There are plenty of other UPS Stores with much classier customer representatives.

BEST LOCKSMITH EVER!!!

I have had bad experiences with other locksmiths in Austin, but Austin Key and Lock I would recomend to everyone. They come out to rekey my house again. I had already had it rekeyed from another locksmith and they screwed it all up. Austin Key & Lock come out when promised and made sure that everything was working properly before they left. When I called they were freindly and they came to work with a smile on there face. They have very good customer service. They have me for a customer for life.
