We love Strickland. All 3 of our children have attended Strickland and have flourished academically. Our 20 yr old is now in Regents University, Our 17 yr old son is a senior making straight A's and our 6 year old can read, write in cursive and speak a little Spanish! She loves school and looks forward to going!

I like the fact that Strickland Christian School here in Austin makes no bones about their strive towards academic excellence. They train their children in godly Christian character making them successful academically as well as growing spiritually. If you are interested in this school I have one suggestion. It is better to begin here as a pre k or kindergarten student than as an older child. It is an advanced curriculum and many transfer students have difficulty catching up. Great school!

General Info
In the early 1960â??s, Corine Strickland began teaching first grade in Texas with her own phonics and memory program. Since that time, Strickland School has been dedicated to training children in godly character while providing them with the academic skills necessary to make them successful students and leaders in their communities. (Proverbs 22:6, 29 and Proverbs 24:3-5) All education involves religious training and thus it is essential to teach children the necessary subjects and skills from a Christian perspective so that children may become all that Christ has intended. (Col. 2:3, 1 Cor. 8:1b, Eph. 3:19) We salute you as parents who are committed to providing your child a quality Christian education and are willing to make the sacrifices necessary to transform your childâ??s mind and heart. (Rev. 3:20)
