- Established in 1971, Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum maintains a collection of coins, stamps, gifts of state, oval office furniture, paintings and more than 4,000 editorial cartoons. The museum hosts exhibitions on American history and features a lobby, gallery and theatre. Its store is a nonprofit foundation that offers jewelry, stationary, postcards, posters and prints. Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum organizes various educational programs, lectures, conferences, tours, workshops and parties. Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum additionally displays audiovisual and printed materials, telephone conversations and presidential papers. The museum s library maintains more than 45 million of historical documents.
