General Info

At Kauitzsch Counseling of Austin you will find a comfortable and confidential environment to do your counseling work. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with mental health experience starting around 1999. I started as a volunteer and went on to professional jobs, training, an education and earned my Master's Degree. I have worked as a sexual assault counselor, bereavement counselor, crisis counselor, and in general counseling centers too. I have focused a majority of my career and practice on trauma and crisis work, which often includes grief and loss work. Both areas I'm passionate about! While these areas tend to be the primary focus in my practice, I also very much enjoy issues such as anxiety, depression, LGBT issues, gender identity, couples and marriage issues and other things that might bring someone to a counselor. I believe in the counseling process and work very hard to make sure I am providing the best care for my clients. I attend regular training and education to keep up-to-date and to learn new ways to help clients. Kauitzsch Counseling of Austin is a safe and supportive place to make changes, work on goals, heal pain and hurt, work through trauma, deal with a crisis and work on other issues as well.
