Faith Lutheran Child Development Center (CDC) has been caring for Austin's children for more than 45 years. It started as a ministry of Faith Lutheran Church in 1961, and although the school has evolved to meet the needs of the community, it has always kept the welfare and development of the child as its main concern. The CDC is a Christ-based child care and development center and an integral part of the ministry of Faith Lutheran Church. Believing education to be a life long process, the Center's purpose is to provide a high quality preschool and child care program in a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment where the children will be loved and encouraged to develop to their full potential. It also recognizes the needs of, and promotes the well being of, the families of the children. The Center welcomes children of any race, religion, or ethnic background.
