      The Family Y s mission is to serve individuals and families in the central Savannah River area through programs designed to build healthy spirit, mind and body and reflect the values of the Judeo-Christian tradition while maintaining respect for all people. The organization has a number of programs for its members to participate in, such as prime time discovery and games for children; health and fitness activities; aerobics; youth sports that include basketball, lacrosse, baseball, tae kwon do, flag football, soccer, in-line hockey and gymnastics; aquatics, such as swim lessons and training, family open swims, water exercise and water parties; day camps that include summer camps, teen camps, gymnastic camps and cheer/dance camps; and adult and teen programs, such as senior classes, golf lessons, adult sport leagues and child care. The Family Y is located in Augusta, Ga.
