SCAM HAVEN

I was approached on Two different occasions at my house by these people. They offered me a fourteen day trail the first time, and a free month the next time if my friend who was with me would sign up too. They asked to see a check to comfirm my address. I asked them many different times, in many different ways if i would be charged at all. THey promised me I wouldn't. One month later, my friend told me she had been charged about $100. When I went there to cancel my membership, the manager told me that I didn't even have an account because the check I let them see was on a closed account. One month later, I get a letter from a bill collector for $150. I went the gym, and they told me that i should have cancelled my membership before the two-week period they give you in the beginning. I tried to cancel in that period, but the dumb biotch Sarah didn't let me. So now I am stuck with a membership. The gym is nice if you don't mind being around all the d-bags that workthere. Also, if you go by yourself be prepared to be approached by personal trainers.

HORRIBLE!

My boyfriend and I were approached by the Gold's Gym people in Wal-Mart one day and we both gave them our numbers...to get them off of our backs. They called repeatedly and then said that my boyfriend had a 14 days free trial. Well..he never went in for his free trial. We looked at his bank statement and was charged $120.00 to Gold's Gym. We have never given them our credit card numbers, but somehow they got it. We called Gold's Gym and they said that after the 14 day FREE trial, we had to pay for a membership. I think this place scam's people for money and I will NEVER EVER work out there. He never signed a piece of paper saying he would pay the membership fee either. I'm pissed that he is out $120.00 for NO REASON!!!
