Ate here with a group of friends (thanks Restaurant dot com for the certificate!). It was pretty good, but not as powerful in taste as authentic chinese restaurants on Buford Hwy. It was also surprisingly affordable for that neighborhood! We ate on the Patio in the great weather--wonderful patio dining! The waitstaff was really nice, even when my friend spilt a drink!
I'd go back...also makes for a good walk with the neighboring bars!

I've lived 2 blocks over from Mu Lan for 6 years. And in that time, I've yet to have a single order delivered within the 45 minute delivery time. This would be acceptable if I lived many miles away. But given that I live (literally) around the corner from them, this is simply unacceptable. I've placed my last order with them. Never again.

Go, go go! I can't find anything negative about it. Go for the atmosphere: No Midtown restaurant is a relaxing as this one. To couple that, the food is really solid and zesty. Try the Tangerine Beef for a splash of pure love. It's sublime. Mu Shu chicken/pork works well too. Don't forget that they have half-price wine on Sunday-Thursday. They have some nice choices.

The lunch menu was amazing. Not only was an entire meal only 6.00 dollars, but it was the best Chinese food in the city. The sweat and sour chicken was a great surprise with its mango pear sauce. And who can complain about 1/2 off wine??? The atmosphere was also perfect. The front porch is great on a nice day ... but even on a cloudy day the inside would make anyone feel at home.Would recommend this place to everyone.

I have eaten here a few times, twice on delivery and once at the actual restaurant. The restaurant has a very nice, cultural atmosphere and the service was fantastic. The delivery also never took too long to deliver. This restaurant is a bit pricey for dinner but lunch prices are very reasonable. They also have several vegetarian options, even the hot and sour soup is vegetarian which is rare. The spring rolls here are also pretty good themselves. I will note again, the dinner menu is a bit pricey. The restaurant itself is a neat location and is charming and romantic is a unique way. I was seated immediately, as well, which is a plus. There are cheaper chinese places in atlanta but also very ""questionable"" ones. Check out some of these places in person before you actually order delivery from them. I trust this place, they seem like a clean, organized business.

I live 5 blocks for Mu Lan and the order took 1 hour and 20 minutes. @ phones calls to them saying The food is on the way. Of course when it arrives its cold. I call them and tell them I want hot food delivered they tell me its going to take another 50 minutes, I ask him to clarify whether he said 15 or 50. It was 50. There are just too many other restaurants serving Chinese food with heavy MSG to order from which I will do in the future.

I've been there three times thus far. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed dining there each time. I can already see MuLan becoming a regular for us. I'm a picky vegetarian when it comes to food and MuLan has managed to beat my expectations.

We have driven by Mu Lan's dozens of times, and have never personally been in. But somehow, we always get a menu stuck to our door. Sunday night, waiting on 60 minutes, we give a call. It took forever for our delivery to come. Basil rolls were fair. But the Sweet 'N Sour Pork, tasted almost like Chung King. Canned pineapple, and a few chopped peppers in one container w/ultra-sweet sauce, and the deep fried pork in another container. I guess this was meant for do it for yourself. While we have steered away from Chinese the last few years, in favor of Thai, there are still a few quality delivery spots in town. We will just stick with Grand China. I guess it's just a preference, and certainly not about the price.

Mu Lan is my FAVORITE!! The food is FRESH and delicious!! My favorite dish is the Mango Prawns!! Mmmmmm!!!! The service is always prompt, friendly and professional! I feel like they pay attention to every little detail. Since I discovered this jewel of place, I've been here more times than I can count and never had a problem. In the warmer months, patio dining is great. In addition, inside the atmosphere is one of classy, asian simplicity with a touch elegance. If you visit and you're not seated upstairs be sure to ask them if you can tour up and check out the lovely decorations. They have private rooms which I've used for Girls Night Out and Birthday dinners. This place is impressive ALL the way around!! You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I order from Mu Lan all the time. The food is always great. They will make things to order too - for example if you like hot and spicy (which we do) they will make a fiery version of anything on the menu. We also enjoy dropping in on them from time to time to soak up some of thier ambiance.
Everyone there is very friendly and the restaurant (interior) is a very romantic place for dates. We also enjoy the patio for eating with friends or people watching.

We order deliver from Mu Lan somedays ago and the service was fast and the food was very good. The sweet/sour chicken that is ussualy full of fat in other restaurants, was light and delicious, with true cooked peaches in the sauce. We really liked and the price was very reasonable, considering that it was 9:30 on a friday night.

I get their delivery once in a while and was very pleased with the prices once when I stopped by for lunch. However, there was something missing with dinner. The food is predictable chinese and is better than most I've had in Atlanta. However, the prices were a bit high for dinner and the service was kind of awkward. The atmosphere was nice, but there was nothing that stood out about this place.

Wow a great chinese restaurant not located on Buford Highway? NOT!!! I was so excited to watch the transformation of the space on Juniper. I would salivate every night as I drive home waiting for the opening. Everything was bland and too ""American-Chinese for me"". And hello - I am an American born Chinese!
This is a beautiful space - but the food is far from it. I'd rather keep driving to Buford Highway for my true and authentic chinese food fix.

Consistently great food since they opened. I'm unsure why it's not more crowded, but the lack of crowds is everyone's gain for delivery (within 10 minutes). Highly recommended (and you can order dine-in specials for delivery once they get to know you).

This is one place we like to return to regularly - the food is excellent (all of the vegetarian options that we've tried have been delicious), the service has been faultless and its a relaxing and beutiful setting for a meal. An all round winner.

I can't help it...I'm not a fan of typical chinese restaurants where everything tastes the same and feels like it's been fried and sitting 3 hours before I get it. Mu Lan tastes EXTREMELY fresh and tasty. Sure, they may not break all the rules of chinese cuisine with their menu or presentation, but it's dang good food. I strongly suggest the Chicken with Asparagus or the Bean Curd with Spicy Sauce.
