      General Info
      The Fulton County Tax Assessor is a board that works to prepare a fair and equitable real and personal property tax digest each year. The board produces the digest pursuant to Georgia State law and all applicable state regulations. The Fulton County Tax Assessor board provides information within the tax digest, such as the value of all real and personal property in the county. The board assesses the properties at approximately 40 percent of the fair-market value. Each member of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners nominates an individual to serve on the Board of Assessors. Fulton County Tax Assessor maintains its headquarters in Atlanta, Ga.
