Editorial review from Citysearch

*** Please read this review before any other. Dr. Hill is both a wonderful doctor and a very caring person. Our family has visited her for many, many years, and she has been nothing but helpful to us. She took two children from our family, who both were experiencing severe behavioral issues, and she helped straighten their acts out. Unlike other doctors who we have seen, she follows through on seeing that the patient is taken care of, and she is a wonderful cheerleader when it comes to supporting patients getting through their issues.

The main reason I a writing this review, aside from her being a wonderful doctor, is that when looking up her phone number, I saw all of these negative things being alleged against her. While I cannot comment on the specifics of another person's experience, I strongly believe that the image presented of her is very far off from the truth. I also believe that while it seems like there are many negative reviews of her, many of them of seem to be written by the same person, giving the appearance that more people are against her than there actually are. This is a very unfair characterization of her.

While I understand a person may be unhappy with how the courts have ruled against their favor, the person really should address that with the courts themselves. Having experience with divorce cases, I know that child psychologists can play a role in decisions, but they do not usually have the impact to sway the courts decision as I believe some reviews have implied. The child psychologist is only one piece of a much larger puzzle.

Dr. Hill is well respected by patients, as well as the psychological community, and if she truly behaved in the way some have described, she would not be able to practice psychology today. If you meet Dr. Hill in person, you ll see she s a very intelligent and caring person. The only fault I can see in her is that she may not be web savvy and has not properly addressed the comments on the message boards that have been posted about her.

By the length of this review, you can see that I feel strongly about this. She has been so very helpful to my family, I feel that the least I can do is post a positive review about her.

Thank you Dr. Hill for all of your help.

- A Loyal Patient for Many Years

Excellent, honest results

Warm, personable, kind, and understanding. Dr Hill has great insights and practical solutions. Of course everyone comes from a different place in life and has different expectations, but for our family this is exactly what was needed. It's very difficult to know why someone else would have a bad experience unless perhaps they had a predetermined outcome in mind or did not hear want they wanted to hear. If you are honest about your situation and open minded about solutions, you will find help here.

Parents in Transition by Dr. Jackie Hill

Jacqueline Hill created Parents in Transition classes. These meetings are sold as a way to get parents who are in conflict to learn how to get along better. There are several weeks where parents get together as a group. Dr. Hill leads these groups with a couple of her associates. It is odd that none of these ""leaders"" have children of their own. Hill will encourage you to tell your feelings, your problems, issues you have with the other parent. She in fact creates conflict amongst the parents. If mom and dad did not like each other in meeting one, they will hate each other by the last meeting. Be very very careful as to what you divulge in these meetings, as Dr. Hill has no problem testifying to it in court. She encourages conflict, rewards you for being honest, then goes to court to testify against you. These meetings offer more to harm the relationship between parents who already may have a difficult relationship. There are certianly better programs. I would not walk, but run from this woman, She has nothing beneficial to offer you or your children.

You can always tell whe Jackie Hill has a car payment due, suddenly your kids need additional EXPENSIVE testing.

This is the most unprofessional counseling you will ever get. RUN!!!!
