After completing his B.S. in Microbiology at the University of Georgia, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1989. Following dental school, Dr. Durden launched Winterville Dental, where he continues to practice family, cosmetic and implant dentistry today.
- OrthodonticsDr. Durden devotes numerous hours each year to participation in advanced education courses on dentistry and health topics, including full mouth rehabilitation, dental implants, TMJ and obstructive sleep disorders, craniofacial pain and orthodontics. He is a founding member of the Athens Dentofacial Interdisciplinary Study Club. Dr. Durden has achieved Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry and Fellowship from the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
- Cosmetic DentistryDr. Phillip Durden has practiced general and cosmetic dentistry in the Athens area since 1989. Over the years, he has expanded his dental practice to include oral appliance therapy for treatment of Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome and sleep breathing disorders.
