- Dental ExaminationIf you have not seen a dentist in a while, or if you experience red, tender, or swollen gums, call to schedule a comprehensive examination including a periodontal assessment in Athens, Georgia dental office.
- Oral Cancer ScreeningUsually, professional cleanings and exams are scheduled with one of our registered dental hygienists and our doctors. At this appointment, we will update your medical history, including any changes to medications you’re taking. We will discuss changes you have noticed or concerns you have relating to your oral health. A blood pressure screening, oral cancer screening, and visual exam of your gums, bone, bite, TMJ (jaw joints), and teeth will take place.
- Teeth CleaningThe dental hygienist will gently and carefully perform a thorough cleaning for you, removing disease-causing plaque or tartar. She will respectfully coach you on how to improve your home care effectiveness, if needed. If additional home cleaning aids or prescriptions, such as fluorides or other medications, are needed, they will be provided. There is a fine balance between a thorough cleaning and a gentle cleaning. Our dental hygienists understand this and have the desire and experience to do both!

- VeneersA smile makeover can involve one or more transformative cosmetic, restorative, or prosthetic dental procedures, like porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, esthetic restorations, and lifelike prosthetics. The difference between a smile makeover and full mouth reconstruction is not black and white, but primarily, a smile makeover is performed to enhance a person's image, whereas full mouth reconstruction is performed to improve function.
- CrownsDental implants are implanted into the jaw by an oral surgeon. The surgeons we work with use an iCAT for precision placement. Made of biocompatible titanium, the implant post will be accepted by bone tissue, and a solid foundation will result. We will permanently attach an esthetic crown to the implant post to complete the procedure. Dental implants can last a lifetime if cared for by daily brushing, flossing, and regular professional cleanings.

- DenturesMany factors can destroy a smile: tooth decay, damage, and disease. With esthetic crowns and tooth-colored fillings, we can inconspicuously correct tooth decay. We replace missing teeth with dentures, partials, bridgework, and dental implants that look and function like natural teeth. Some patients wonder if their deteriorated or broken teeth can ever be attractive again. The answer is yes! With full-mouth restoration, we can return severely damaged teeth to full health and beauty.

- Teeth WhiteningEach patient's teeth and teeth stains are different. Teeth whitening lightens teeth, and in some cases, the results are dramatic. No one can predetermine your results, but most patients are pleased after the teeth whitening system.
- Cosmetic DentistryFor a complete smile makeover, we may suggest a combination of esthetic restorations, prosthetics, and cosmetic dentistry procedures that will deliver exactly the image you want. Often, we can transform a smile in just a few convenient visits to our Athens dental office.
