This is the most horrid place I have ever seen...my aunt was a resident there for a couple of years and I and my family visited her several times...we live in Mass. so you know this was no easy feat..the place has a less than competent staff...serves food that should be put in the garbage (brown lettuce, uncooked microwave bacon)and the place is filthy...my daughter and I cried when we saw the condition she was living in..Hospice was actually going to move her out but she was too ill...found bloody Depends on her bed, her room was smelly and filthy...AND they knew I was expected! PLEASE, this place is not fit for a pig to live in....wish I found this site two years ago....These people don't care about your loved ones..have to give it one star to get it on line
This is a terrible place! A caregiver dropped an older lady off at our office for an apt. She couldn't even be seen by our physicians because she was so heavily sedated in her wheel chair. She was completely incapacited she could not even hold her head up. She was dropped off with no caregiver no paperwork. Nothing. Im quite sure the word Assisted in assisted living means something along the lines of giving aid or help or to be associated with as an assistant or helper. Or maybe Merriam-Webster is wrong.
