      Coming Attractions Theatres, Inc was founded in 1985 in Ashland, Oregon, home of the acclaimed Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The company's founder, John Schweiger, had been an executive with major corporations before settling in Ashland and developing an interest in the local movie theatre that dated back to 1937. After renovating and operating Ashland 's local theatre, Mr. Schweiger's enthusiasm for the film exhibition industry fueled his company's expansion while acquiring or building additional theatres in smaller to medium-sized markets across the Pacific Northwest ( Washington, Oregon and Northern California ). Coming Attractions surpasses its patrons' expectations by continuously providing modern theatre complexes that boast all the amenities of a larger facility. Coming Attractions Theatres Inc selects each of their locations carefully to build their First Run theatres. By building in mid-sized cities with high growth communities, it captures a maximum audience with minimum competition. With professional management, attention is given to the customer to ensure that their movie experience is a great entertainment value. Every detail is top priority with management to establish and maintain high standards for cleanliness in our lobbies, auditoriums, and restrooms. Courteous attendants staff each of the concession stands. The staff is efficient and trained in suggestive selling. THE ENTIRE STAFF IS DEDICATED TO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Utilizing Dolby Digital, Digital Theatre Sound equipment and wall-to-wall screens, Coming Attractions presents a film the way filmmakers intended. The comfort of our customers is essential, with stadium seating, plush seats and arm rests with cup holders. All of the Box Offices are computerized, allowing for advance ticket purchasing hours or even days before the showing. In addition to facility upgrades, Coming Attractions has expanded to one hundred fifty-two screens, with additional screens being built Newport, Oregon. Coming Attractions Theatres, Inc is proud of our involvement with youth-related activities, assistance to the underprivileged, non-profit organizations, and group events rather than individual event participation. Coming Attractions Theatres, Inc donated thousands of passes each year for these types of events.
