I have posted on multiple websites includingtheir own facebook and my own check myvmy story out share the story. To give you a summary of the events I was basically mentally and physically threatened and pushed to my shear limits. This was not the first time nor will it be the last that Matt Rafeld uses not only his position as a manager but also his enormous size to intimidate the employees that he is in charge of. Once I tried to tell my side of the story the gm Jon Sarelis not only admitted that he handled the events prior to the incident wrong but in fact did not hold Matt Rafeld accountable for his actions. Nor was their any type of investigation done prior to my termination of a four year line lead. Share my story. Let it be known that they were not only unjust but border line criminal. Just visited Jake's this past tuesday (5/31) for dinner with grandchildren in tow. The Mac 'n Cheese was absolutely gross and disgusting...do you not think that children have taste buds. After 2 spoonfuls, brought the rest home and tried it. Yuck. Please change your box mix. Even BK has better mac 'n cheese, at least it is a brand name.

Today my daughter (she & her family have eaten at Jake's before) and I met a friend that we had not seen since 1968 at Jake's Restaurant in Ashland for lunch. Neither our friend nor I had been there before. We had a great personable, informative waiter that had a great sense of humor named Michael. Each of us ordered something different & ended the lunch getting desserts referred to as a "Shooter" which is various kinds of cheesecakes in small glasses. The food was great, the restaurant clean & decorated nicely. The prices were very reasonable. We explained to Michael that we hadn't seen each other in 42 years & asked if we might sit & visit for awhile. He told us that would be fine. He even snapped pictures of us using the cameras in our phones. All of the staff that we saw was friendly to us also. We will recommend this restaurant to others & my husband & I will be going there. Our experience with Jake's was great.

It's worth the short drive to Ashland for their Tuesday night specials. Food is good and price is right.

Excellent Steak house. Check out Tuesdays which is half off steak night. Very nice bar area.
