My family lucked out when we found this guy. To begin with, he really took his time with my kids. He explained to them what he was going to do, the tools he'd be using, how those tools felt. My little ones were totally comfortable with him, and so was I. Some OTHER area dentists that we'd looked into had refused to allow the parent in the room with the child during exams and procedures. Another dentist suggested that I dose my kids with Benedryl before bringing them in. Yet another proposed to strap my kid to a board while he worked on my child. That IS NOT the case with Dr. Smith. I was able to be in the room, and Dr. Smith talked to me the whole time about the procedure as he worked on my child. Dr. Smith is a rare find: an old-school straight-shooter, who tells it like it is and does exceptional work.

Dr. Smith is wonderful!! My first appointment with him was surprising!! One of my teeth required an x-ray, which I was not aware of, so he didn't charge me for it!! I'm a student with very limited funds, so it made me very happy!! He's very laid back with a pleasant bedside manner.
